Candesartan,
Irbesartan, Losartan, Valsartan and any other drug ending ..sartan.
Occasionally these tablets will affect the
kidneys so people taking them need to have a blood test done 2 weeks after
starting them and then annually to ensure their kidneys are working
properly. If you need this doing then ask the receptionist for a kidney blood
test for U&E. (Urea and electrolytes)
